Default Recommended laptop!

What would you recommend for a good price but last pretty long, enough to actually play the present and future DX 9 games?

Personally I like IBM's because they will last a very long friend has one that is 6 years old and it still works fine(a little I have a Thinkpad A20p and i love it. Stay away from Sony Vaio laptops. Dell and Gateway are also pretty good. Look for one with a mobile chip in it. They run much better in laptops than the regular CPUs
