what sucks is that my parents decided to get an hp instaed of letting me build one for them. they keep their computers for several years( their last one they had for 5 years) i trid telling them that my option would be better, but they wouldn't hear it.

deliberately break it somehow, and say it's a problem with the low quality parts HP put in; then tell them you could make a computer twice as good with the same amount of money they spent - you're not lying with the second part
