Hi Everyone
About one year ago I purchased a PC
350w PSU
8S648FX-RZ(-C) Motherboard w/ SiS 648 Chipset
intel P4 3.0 GHz cpu ht
Nvidia Ge Force FX 5700LE
2x 12GB HDD
2x 500MB DDR Ram
Lite-On DVD SOHD 167T
Lite-On DVD SOHW 832S
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platnum Pro
Leadtak WinFast TV 2000 XP Pro
Ever since I bought this computer i have had nothing but problems.
The PC freezes or reboots often. It usualy says a thread was stuck in the display driver.
This problem occurs not just when playing very graphical games such as far cry etc, but also pretty basic ones such as dink smallwood
I have tried many things to solve the problem, such as:
scandisks, defrags and virus/spyware checks
Updating Drivers
Reformatting
Upgrading PSU to 500w
Changing just about every setting possible, from driver settings to Direct X
I know the problem is not faulty hardware because a friend bought a PC exactly the same and is having the same problems.
If anyone has any suggestions, please help!
