Okay, so right now I have pc2100, which runs at 133mhz. My system is overclocked to 142mhz x 10.5 which means I'm getting a bottleneck from my memory right? I was going to get a stick of Corsair XMS 512mb pc2700, but my dad brought up a good point. I am planning on upgrading my mobo and cpu later on and the platform would support pc3200. If I went ahead and got this- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-145-420&depa=1 it would run alot faster right?
It wouldn't make any difference if I got that pc3200 over the pc2700 right? My mobo is made for pc2100 but, that isn't fast enough for what I need. I need some quick responses if possible
