Default Ram Question

You know how data from RAM travels along a 64 bit bus? Well when data is needed from RAM does it send data fully on the 64 bit bus to the CPU or does it use 32 bit in each direction?

Thanks in Advance

The data is sent and received at 64bits. The whole process is done in sequence so the information is sent at 64bit and the information is received at 64bit.
