RAM Heat Spreader

Just wondering if these RAM sticks: http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?style=album will fit side by side with the heat spreaders on, and if it is recommended. Also, would 3 sticks of RAM still work in dual channel even thought there are 3 lol

The motherboard will have to support a triple channel configuration. You cannot place three modules in dual channel.

So wouldn't the extra stick work at all?

PS It's just a corsair ddr2 stick
