Does having DDR 333 PC 2700 RAM in a DDR 400 PC 3200 STANDARD RAM motherboard reduce gameplay graphics (laggy gameplay and not running smooth and etc.), and make a significant difference than from having the DDR 400 PC 3200 RAM?

it would run better with the type of ram that is supposed to be there but that seems to be more like a vc situation.....

well i have a sapphire radeon x850xt 256mb DDR3 VC, abit an8-ultra, and amd 64 athlon 3700+ san diego, 500W psu. tried setting everything to HIGH/Maximum in F.E.A.R. but it does not run smooth and runs laggy. could it be that the card isnt that great for the game.......its a 300 dollar card......i would think it should be fine with all settings on high/maximum

FEAR discriminates against ATI cards. FEAR works better way better with nvidia cards than it does with ATI.

Also lets not forget that FEAR is a very graphically advanced game.

The more RAM you got the faster your computer will be able to load textures and what not. But it won't really improve FPS, just loading times.
