Which RAM configuration?

Hello,

Someone asked me to post this question up. Here it goes...

Out of the following configurations, which is best?


Option 1: 256MB PC2100 DDR-SDRAM + 512MB PC2700 DDR-SDRAM

Option 1 would clock the system bus at 333MHz, but with a total of 768MB of RAM.


Option 2: 512MB PC2700 DDR-SDRAM + 512MB PC3200 DDR-SDRAM

Option 2 would clock the system bus at 266MHz, but with a total of 1GB of RAM.

why not use two sticks of the same speed ram?

More RAM, and better RAM speeds.

PC2100 is horrible, i wouldnt touch it...

Option 2 should run at 333MHz, while option 1 would run at 266MHz.
