yes ultimitely your cpu bus dont matter but it can tell u something. Look at ur mobo manual and it will tell u your ram. Say ur cpu runs at 333 right u an gather buy that your mobo will support up to 333 but the highest for amd is 400 so it could possably hold a 400 chip.
