Question Which RAID is better?

Q Which RAID configuration is better? i would like 2 no because i would like 2 make a computer. [&] I like Western Digital Ar they any good?

ok first . . . speak english . . .

second . . . matters on what you wanna do . .

the 2 most common RAIDs are RAID0 and RAID1

RAID0 means that 2 hard drives essentially become one, as they split the information between them

RAID1 means that the 2 hard drives mirror each other, so that you have a backup . . .

Western Digital is good, especially their Raptor line (36.7 and 73.4GBs)

They are ESPECIALLY good in RAID

you also can get a combo of the above raid, depending on what you want. is this business or home? just do a google on raid configurations and youll get the list. there are several possiblities depending on what you want to spend, if its stripped, stripped with parity, and so on.
