RAID 0? 5? at all?

I'm building a PC, AMD 3400+ s 939 on a A8V Deluxe that i plan to use for gaming. i already have a 80 GB Seagate SATA Barracuda. Is it worth it to get another and RAID 0 them (disk striping without parity)? or get a raid 0+1 (disk striping with parity)? Yes, i know what they mean, but is it worth another 60 - 150 sumthin bucks to make it work?

Depends if you are willing to spend the extra 60 - 150 sumthin bucks for a small preformance increase

u sure ur gettin a 939 3400 cos ive only seen 3000 3200 3500 3800 and 4000 on stk 939.

Anyhow ive got Radi0 on 2 seagate 120gig SATAs and they are very fast and are not going to bottle neck my system for quite some time. but if money is a worry you can always get another on later? If u havent got enough space then i would definatly look to another HDD the same rather than another make/model.

But i think you should get a 3200+ or 3500+ 90new they disipate less heat and overclock better

OK my mistake
Im gettin 3200 90nm core becuase they overclock so well becuase they use less volts through them. so are highly recommended

i had 2 raptor hdd at raid 0, one went bad and now i only have the one drive in there, and i have noticed no performance difference. 2 hard drives running stripped isnt supposed to do anything for gaming anyways, its just changes the response time in opening programs.
