Default Radeon X700 Pro Video Card, 8x AGP, 256MB GDDR3

Will Radeon X700 Pro Video Card, 8x AGP, 256MB GDDR3, improve my gaming and not give me any laggs????

My current specs is celeron 2.7, 512 pc2100, ati9600se 128mb.
Im playing gta san andreas and it laggs, if i get that video card will it stop lagging?????

uhh, You might want to stick with a x800 PRO atleast. However yes it would a little bit.

Ok, I just updated my previous post...check above. Seeing the performance I would say you could run BF2 at all medium settings, so yes you would be seeing a large difference in gaming. However it will become a low end card by 2007'ish.

don't go with an X700, go with a GeForce 6600GT instead. it costs less, has better shaders, and is MUCH MUCH faster than an X700 Pro. in Doom 3, the X700 Pro has to run on medium settingsat 1024x768, but a cheaper 6600GT can run it on hight at 1280x1024!

yup, in this generation of graphics cards, Nvidia is in the lead. go for a 6600 GT, which costs about the same, but has PS 3.0, can play a lot of games with max settings, and image quality is good

ooooohhhhh maybe i will get 6600 then, but theres one prob... My mobo says agp is 4X and the x700 and 6600gt is 8X.. If i get the 8X vid card can the mobo take it????????
