Exclamation Radeon Question

hey,

i have a laptop that has ATi Mobility Radeon 9000 graphics and whenever i change the screen resolution to anything below 1400x1280 the whole screen shrinks...i mean it shinks so that a black boarder around the whole screen...and being a laptop u cant adjust as if it were a normal monitor...

do u guys think it could be graphic driver related ?

Does the monitor support those lower resolutions?

umm yea it does...because it use to be 1024x768 but then it started doing this problem so we had to make the screen res higher so it would fit the whole screen

Try reinstalling the drivers or using newer ones

yea but the problem is i cant find the drivers for it ... its got win XP pro on it and i cant seem to find the drivers...i searched google and i could only get win98, 2000, NT4 drivers

Try downloading catalyst 6.1 from ATI's site. It says it supports Radeon 9X00 series cards
