Ok, so I'm building my XPC in a couple weeks, on a strict budget.
I want to play an occasional game of Doom 3, Unreal, HL2, Warcraft, etc., of course I understand that a budget system can't play todays latest games at anything above medium settings, I'm ok with that.
So, with these factors, what video card would be best, a Radeon 9550 128 MB 128 bit flashed to a Radeon 9600, or a Geforce FX 5600 128 MB 128 bit??
Also, would it be a good idea to put some Arctic Silver 5 between the GPU core and the stock heatsink?
Who knows, may feel like overclocking the GPU via software one day...

I also kind of want decent 2D performance as far as Photoshop and other basic Windows programs goes, at 1280x1024 at 60 hz on my NEC Multisync LCD1765.
