Default quick processor question...

which processor is faster:

a celeron M 1.7 Ghz for a laptop,


a celeron D 2.6 Ghz for a desktop?

i have two computers with those processors, so which is faster?

i have no idea how they compare. run benchmark tests on them. perhaps a run through superpi to 32m and record the times on both or a cpu benchmark in SiSandra.

well i personally cant do anything extreme on the laptop, its not mine.
