can't answer your question, but i'm going to tell you that the psu is a very important (imo) part of your system; you don't want to go cheap on it

however, if you DO want to, there's a $30-50 24pin psu for thermaltake on xoxide.com that'll work just fine

the better choices are the ocz modstream 450 and the fortron blue storm 500

also, since i'm not going to be installing the rest of my computer (cpu, ram, gpu etc...) for another month, would it still be a good idea to install the mobo and fans to see if they work?

mobo and case above
Athlon 64 3200+ winnie core
evga 6600GT
1 GB Corsair RAM (2x512)
200gb IDE 7200rpm HDD
2x80 gb 7200rpm SATA HDD

Just buy a special converter for around $5-$10 to go from 20 pin to 24 pin...

Unless something happened to the fans/mobo they should work. I wouldn't worry about it.
