Question on Laptops

I am planning to buy a laptop. However, the linksys router at my home is wired. I want to make use of the wirless capabilities the laptop. So do I just buy something like this:

To access the wired internet through wireless?

depends on what you will use your network for. If you plan on high bandwith file transfer or software sharing, it is better to get a "G" rouder, it would be a little more expensive but a lot faster. If you plan on just sharing internet or small/medium data transfer, you can get the rouder you posted (it's a "B" rouder) and it will do the work just fine. (that is what I use too and it's great)
