Default Question about wireless router..

Can you use an ethernet cable and plug a wireless router into an already active normal router and have it work? My parents wont unplug theres so this is my only choice..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

linksys makes a router called WAP11 if i am correct. It is wireless b, but it does what your saying. If you can buy two, you can turn the second into a repeater

Intel Pentium 4 2.8 ghz
Gigabyte: GH-PCU21-VG 3D Cooler Pro
1024 mb OCZ Ultra High Performance Ram (Dual Channel)
PNY nVIdia GeForce 5200 128 mb
60 gb hd
17\" Hyundai lcd
Wireless G Networking Interface
Unusable 100 gigs of scsi hds in an inclosure

result: one kickass pc

Send a message via AIM to DJ-CHRIS

Yep you can do that, try just disabling the DCHP server and see if that works.

You may also need to manually enter in infomation about the other router, it's the same as a cable internet connection except for DHCP server
