Question about Water Cooling

Can someone explain to me how water cooling works? (a link to a site would be much appreciated)

Can you just use plain water to run it or does it needs something special?

I know that water cooling is supposed to expensive, but I found this on zipzoomfly.com and was wondering if it will work well:

What do you think about that Kingwin Water Cooling System?

That Kinwin liquid cooler system is good but Evercool makes the same system only its better and its has a couple more features it has a stronger pump to move the water through the tubes faster i believe it is 40% faster then the system you had on that link, It comes with the athlon 64 clip and the LGS775 clip so you dont have to purchase extra items. The evercool system is EXACTLY the same on the inside and outside EXCEPT for those 2 thing i just mentioned and dont forget its CHEAPER!!!! so i would go with the evercool one it is a great all-in-one watercooling product and works very well~~~Hope this helps~~~
