Default Question about motherboard drivers

Why would updating the motherboard drivers be of any help? The only chipset drivers my motherboard came with, were USB 2.0 drivers, and PCI to AGP drivers. Would updating these help me in any way?

new drivers are most often released to Increase compatibility, Stability or performance.

It never hurts to update your drivers, most of the time its for your benefit
