Question about Cache Performance

Would anyone happen to know how to derive a formula for the average access time for a three level cache? Any help is appreciated.

why? if you want to find out cache latencies download cpu-z. there is an additional program included in the cpu-z archive called "latency.exe" run that and it should tell you the latencies

i need to know because i am writing a paper on cache performance but i am not entirely sure how to formulate the access times for different level caches. maybe i am in the wrong forum but any help would still be appreciated.

i believe latency and access time are the same thing. i didn't know there was a formula for calculating access times as it would vary from processor to processor. as for frequency though L1 cache is normally full speed (i.e. same frequency as processor) and L2 cache is generally either full speed or half speed. i don't know about L3 cache
