Default question

hi.
How do you find out which fan blows in and which fan blows out?

also, does it matter which way is facing up for the hard drive when you put it in the computer (the side that is exposed or the side that isnt)?

Sorry to be blunt with the first question but.....plug it in....put your hand in front of it....do you feel air??? fans by brand are differnt...some have the brand sticker side blowing out...some in.
If it isn't evidence enough by "feeling" the air then check out the manus. web site because they might have specs there.

The exposed side of a HDD should face down in almost all situations.

We are talking about case fans right?
No, most (if not all) fans are reversable. Just turn them around if you want them to blow out (or in).
