I was just wondering how much is the price for this cd-writer.

I got another question, My friend gave me this scanner and the model is primascan colorado 2400p, and How much is the price of this scanner?

The CD writer is just about worthless, I don't know about the scanner.

what do you mean about worthless...... I went to one of the site, and check the price, and it was about 80 dollars... and you think that's worthless.. um..

Yep, worthless. I could go to Newegg and get a GOOD DVD burner for less...

Dude my uncles computer came with a cd burner that speed 5 years ago.

what the heck guys... I didn't say I want to buy it, I got it from my friend, and I was just wondering how fast is this cd-writer? that's all..... I got this for free ok.. I'm just comparing it with other cd-writers. that's all.

To copy a full (700mb) cd your looking at 35 minutes. 4x is the speed that burners were at before you started seeing them in computers as standard.

Its slow. Though the price is right.

Sorry, it's probably the paint fumes...

It's not very good, I can tell you that. But for an older machine, it might be nice.

EDIT: $30-$40?? No way. Maybe $5-$10, if you're lucky.

If you find someone that has a old computer and doesn't know what they are doing than maybe. But look at the drive I posted, its a 16x dvd burner thats brand new and only cost $45.

I'd say its worth between $10 and $25 but most likely in the $10 area.
