here are the output specs form 2 different PSU's

... +3.3V@28A;+5V@40A;-5V@0.5A;+12V@20A;-12V@0.8A;+5VSB@2A

... +3.3V@24A, +5V@24A, +12V1@9A, +12V2@9A, +12V3@15A, +12V4@8A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@2A

the second 1 apears to have 4 channels for the 12v rail. but the first has 20a on its only 12v.

what is the reason for the 2nd having 4 12v channels?... and is it better??

I've never seen a PSU list the +12v line in 4 channels like that before. So I have no idea what the hell that would be.....so I really don't know how to answer that =/ because I don't want to say the 20a rated PSU is better just because I don't know why the other has '4 channels'

Man I really don't know, that 2nd one says +12v Yellow 9a, +12v Yellow/Black - 15a so it's like giving the rating per certain wires...I don't think that's what you should be looking for and there are no reviews underneath it....I suggest you just either buy the first PSU or just look for a normal PSU that lists the rails like they normally do

hey, for all i know that could be a good thing.

im not buying the hardware at this point in time, just looking for information. so im hoping some one with info will eventually c this. or at least link to somewere that helps.
