PSU Showdown!

Which PSU is better, the Thermaltake Silent Pure Power 680W or the PC Power & Cooling 510W

I ask this because the Thermaltake has a higher wattage but the PC Power & Cooling one costs $45.00 more. I really don't know a thing about PSU's so I'll let you experts decide.

The PC Power and Cooling is probably a better PSU. If you look closely, its true peak power is actually 650 watts. I'm guessing the ThermalTake is advertising its peak power, that being the 680 watts. Nearly all PSU manufacturers seem to. PCPC is the king of PSUs, if you can afford it. You should also notice that the PCP PSU puts out more amps. Plus, it only has one fan, which could very possibly make it quieter than the two fan Thermaltake. While the TT IS high quality, I think it's safe to say the PCP is a better PSU.
