Default psu connector

on my 400 psu theres a connector that looks pretty wierd. on the connector it says ''K8'' does any body knows what that is and what does it plug in to?

I've only heard of "K8" being used with AMD in the same sentence. The K8 is AMD's proprietary build for it's 64/FX/or Opteron processors.

is "k8" only for amd cpu and does it plug in to the mobo?
