Default PSU burn in

I was wondering, what is the typical burn in time for a power supply? I was told that there is one, but my friend didn't know how long it was. Or, is he just making stuff up?

A good burn-in time is usaully 24-48 hours.

Ooops.

Yep, same here MB. I saw "burn-in" and assumed he meant CPU.

I guess I should pay more attention.

Never heard of a burn in on a PSU, CRT and CPU yws but never on a PSU

what is a burn in? is it like the hardware "getting used to each other"?
