I need help. I have a pc but the power supply sucks. I need a new one, that is at least 400WAtts. What should i get. i want a reliable company, but i cant spend more that 60 bucks. Also this needs to be available at compusa. so can one of u check and tell me what brand is reliable there? thanks

Compusa sells only two brands, one of them is their own both do the job.

why does it have to be from compusa?
I reccomend either Antec, Thermaltake or Enermax power supplies
the Thermaltakes being the least expensive of these, this one is what I reccomend

from what i've been reading on the reviews, you will probaly get a used PSU. and even if you don't and it fails, you probably won't get your money back.

try getting something from www.newegg.com
they at least have a return policy that doesn't say "you are screwed hahahahahaha" thermaltake is good, antec, aspire, raidmax.(maybe a few others)

but the one you linked to at newegg did not. my TT PSU has a version with active pfc. (but i own the passive pfc one) anyways, as long as you don't buy from compusa, you will be fine
