Hi, this is my first post on your forum. I hope this is the right place to post my question...
Does anyone know what are good applications for "Programmable Systems on a Chip" Microprocessors and when it might be considered overkill? I am considering using it in a future revision of my slave microcontroller design which contains lots of logic chips (4000 series) and it takes up quite a bit of room, so would that be a good upgrade for me to lower my part count?
