processor problem..

will someone explain to me how to fix my processor problem? i have an athlon xp2100+ that is running at a slower speed than it should be; 1.3ghz. i think it should be at about 1.73 or so. i dont know how it happend but it happened when i reformatted. i just need a simple step by step. thanks...

have you touched the BIOS?

the FSB must hav been changed, as it should have to be on 166MHZ, which yu might have changed to 133 or 100 by mistake,

go into BIOS settins, and check there written somewhere CPU FSB settings, else than that, you may find the Jumpers on board (have u touched any of the jumpers?)
