Question processor compare

Please tell me if there is a HUGE difference between changing processors:

Intel Celeron D 330 (2.66 Ghz)

and...

Intel Celeron D 345 (3.06 Ghz)



is the 400 mhz going to speed up windows xp that much?

i doubt you will notice a difference, 400 Mhz is not that much. Playing games is the only time i think when you will actualy notice a difference.
i would say that its not worth the cash.

ok. could you tell me if a pentium 4 3.0 Ghz is worth buying? it would be pricy, but i want SPEED!!

also, i am so tired of buying ram, i willl buy a 1 GB stick of ram pretty soon, but for now, my RAM is OK

the cpu upgrade might not make as much "speed" as you are hoping for... you might want to up your RAM to get the noticable difference that you are looking for.
