Problems with power *SORTED*

My PC, recently finished, suffers from intermittent faults like one of the hard drives or optical drives not being detected at startup. When thinking about it, there are quite a few items being powered from a 350 watt PSU.

Computer is detailed in sig, and the Thermaltake case now has 8 fans and a few lights, I would like conformation that this is very likely to be a power shortage, and would be resolved with a 470 watt Tt purepower.

Thanks Kboy, that site calculates a worst case drain of 475 watts, so I guess thatÂ’s a confirmation.

On having a look around, I am tempted to get this PSU, its not the cheapest I have seen, but got excellent reviews, and looks quite cool. Anyone here used anything similar before, or have an opinion as to something better?

Yes, Pounds Sterling, my guess would be about $190.00 US.

Yeh, I know its steep, but I have spent a bloody fortune on the PC already, and it seems a shame to have a ‘weak point’ in the system.
