problems installing nVIDIA nFORCE 2 soundcard

if you have over 256 mb or so of ram, win xp is fine, but i would suggest at least 512

Man i have heard a lot of bad stuff about the nforce2. Does anyone have on that hasnt run into any errors? I have a friend who tried kingston ram on his and it just totally messed everything up.

i have the same mobo as he does, a7n8x deluxe, and my sound gets corrupted during use. after i installed the newer drivers for sound it had no more corruption but it sounds overall bad, static and noise but at least no more sound loss. by corruption i mean it stopped working
