Hi Everyone...
I posted last week about not being able to install any O/S on my new rig. After about a week of trial/error and some troubleshooting, I came up with the solution! Finaly!...!
Apparently my new memory was way too fast for DOS to handle (latency was too low), therefore it was causing errors when trying to copy the XP setup files to the memory. So, what I did was switch the Corsair with some of my old generic memory (266 Mhz), and everything installed PERFECTLY. Once Windows XP was installed, I put the Corsair back in.
Now I can finally play Far Cry with EVERYTHING on the HIGHEST detail... And it runs at such high frames, I couldn't believe it.
Thx again for those who attempted to help me out. I appreciate it.
