Angry Problem with 802.11g, i need help!!!

help, i have no idea what i did but it sure F'd up my computer

heres what happend

i was playing farcry but i needed to go so i tryed to put my computer on standby( FN+1, its a laptop) but it wouldnt let me.
it said something about the drivers in my wireless thing, something along the lines of that there not working properly and if the problem persists i may need to update them.
then my computer froze
so i turned it off by holding down the power button, when it started up there was no sign that i had wireless at all. i checked every where, where it should come up and its not there
so i tryed system restore but that didnt work either
so now it wont detect that i have 802.11g at all

sorry for the long read but i need help

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!
