What exactly does a wireless printer mean? Does the computer that the printer is connected to not have to be turned on to use it? For example, say the printer is hooked up to a desktop and I want to send something to that printer using a laptop, would the desktop have to be on?

Hey Man I got the printer working by USB but still no luck WiFi. If you think of something else let me know I'll give it a try.
