printer problem

my basic, older printer, canon s300 prints with lines on everything. the lines are very close together and ruin every thing that is printed. i have done everything in the maintentance section, clean nozzle, deep clean nozzle, and print head alignment to no avail. anyone have any ideas short of getting another printer. ruining all my kids homework papers.

have you tried replacing the ink? thats the most common problem.

Sounds like the "print head" needs to be replaced if the normal maintenance nozzle cleaning doesn' t fix the problem. Print heads can be expensive depending on type of printer though.
