Printer not communicating

Hi there

I have a dell printer v305, which has worked fine with my hp laptop (via a USB cable) until the other day. I tried to print off a pile, and a message informed me that the printer was 'unable to communicate'.

I've tried switching everything off and then on again, I've also unplugged the USB cable, and then plugged it in again. The latest drivers also apear to be installed ok, along with updates from Microsoft.

What do I do now?!! Thanks in advance...

Check your usb cable or try using a new usb cable

Thank you for that, but having uninstalled and reinstalled it, the printer has started working again. If it does start happening again, I think I'll have to buy a new usb cable. Or printer...
