Default Printer issues and prossibly more

Alrighty, I have a friend who has an older computer. It runs win 98 even. The printer we have is a HP Deskjet 950c, it can work with the LTP ( Parallel Cable) which we don't have or the USB cable. The USB new device didn't come up and so I tried working around it, but still nothing. Tried uninstalling the software as well, but I still run into the same problem. So either her USB isn't working properly or I'm just unable to figure out something so simple.

Plz help and the more suggestions the better.

Greetings Argilus,

I think you may find your answer here....check this document at the HP Website.

If this doesn't help come on back and we'll try again.
Best of luck,
