Power supply size

The thermaltake one that I am considering is not standard ATX size. Instead of the standard 15cm(L) X 14cm(W) X 8.6cm(H)
it is 15cm(L) X 16.5cm(W) X 8.6cm(H)

I'm wondering which way is the width and length.
I'm assuming that width is from the main side of the case to the mobo side of the case. And that length is from the front to the back of the case.
Reason this is important is because if it is 16.5cm front to back and not side to side then the top fan on the case won't fit.

when you look at the power supply from the back..as if it was in your computer plugged in...width would be from left to right. You already know height, and length would be from the back of your computer to how far towards the front it is.
