Default Power supply killed or whole computer killed?

Hey all,

I am about to cry, seriously. I just built my new mod pc a couple days ago. Then today, when i was playing battlefield 1942. The case went POP!. I am not sure what happened. The monitor still works. Neither are connected to a surge protecter. Please help me. Does it mean the power supply broke or everything? Because I got the power supply and case for 60 bucks. Could be a cheap *** powersupply. Please HELP!

Alex

On top of that... what happens now when you turn it on?

Check if the PSU works. Check for the HD leds etc. Any activity?

Ok not a big deal,

It was a piece of **** powersupply, made by some taiwenese people(go figure) No damage to components. Ran memtest, and had the motherboard recoqnize everything. So I went out and bought a 100 dollar power supply to celebrate

Thanks though guys.
