Will upgradeing my 350W PSU to a 550W PSU show that much of a dif. cause after i installed my new Vid card i noticed a bit of strain on my hard drives..

It wont make a difference on performance (not noticeable if there is any)

I don't know how good of a company enermax is, but if it is a good one 350 should be enough (just, as you have 2 harddrives)

I should go with Antec? or what company would i be better off buying? i know its a contriversial issue but ya know how it is when you want opinions on what to get !

Antec, thermaltake and also ocz are said to be the best psu makers.

Antec is the best out of them most of the time.

so at pretty much the same price i can get either a 550W ENERMAX PSU or a 480W ANTEC PSU.. im better off going with the antec?

I have a personal preference for Antec. I would get an Antec True 550. its $100, but its a REALLY nice PSU.

I dont order my stuff online =\, although i should. The Stores around me have that PSU for:

ANTEC TRUE550W EPS12 550W $159.97

..lol thats the only 550W Antec i could find in the 3 stores i shop at.

Thermaltake has a PSU that has modular cables, if you are an oraganization knid of person. Although with all the extra stuuf it boasts about on the thermaltake home site, it probably costs quite a bit
