possible new mobo w/ this case

srry i have this same topic in the other section but i need an answer kinda fast (i tried deleting it in the other section)

i have a compaq s6220wm, and many have told me that i cannot get a new mobo b/c of the size of the case. but my question is, i just looked on the site, and my mobo is micro ATX form....so couldnt i just get a micro atx????

i really hope so b/c i only have PCI slots....(

I had a look at the pic & lookd like the backplate layout is standard for mATX & the holes are in the right place, so another mobo should fit your case.
Only thing to check is the front panel connectors on the mobo (ie pwr switch, pwr led etc). Some compaq machines have a single block connector for these which will cause you problems on a standard mobo,
