I want to know if I could get a burn in by doing this?

First let me tell you something: ^^
I had a 200 W PSU for my P III. It was used from 4:00 to 3 at night continuosly for 2 months straight. The PSU burned.

I got a new PC with the following specs:
300 W PSU
P4 3.2 GhZ HT 550
Asus P5P800
ATI Radeon 9200
80 GB S-ATA
20 GB IDE (less than 7200rpm)
One CPU Fan and heatsink
PSU Fan
One 20mm double-ball bearing case fan at 2000 rpm
The CPU fan is usually at 3000 RPM keeping the PC under 52 degrees during normal use and under 71 degrees during intense gaming.

Will I get a burn in if I left the computer on overnight for 2 days?
How long could I leave my computer on without risking a burn in?

Thanks.

Whew, if that's 71C that's way too hot for that CPU I think.

A 'burn in' is when you heat up your CPU or memory to expand the transistors so that they can be further overclocked.

If you're worried about the PSU dying, then you should have gottan a good quality one if you didn't in the first place.

Otherwise your computer should easily stay on 24/7 as some people do infact have it running all day everyday

Yes, I heard that EVEN server computers which I have no doubt, run on at least 450 PSUs have to be shut down every 3 months though.

Yeah, it's always a good idea for any system to be given a little bit of down time, but I'm saying 2 days isn't nothin compared to 3 months though.
