Yup, that samsung should be fine....but its still a TN panel...

firstly, money is probly the biggest concern.
The money is in Australian Dollars.

I would go with an 8ms monitor if you going to be gaming.

Do you need american or Australian prices? because if u need Australian i can link you to some sites.

8ms response time
700:1 Contrast ratio
DVI input
Very bright (400cd/m2)

It's a dream...
it's around the prices for the other screens you were looking at. ( 600$ canadian)

570 AUD= 425 USD (according to yahoo) means you can just afford the viewsonic vaderpro listed...

Yes, there is no point going to 17in LCD because i already have a 17in monitor.

Ankush09, Sadly it doesnt work that way. Australians cant buy of Newegg, and there are lots of taxes and stuff that makes products here cost so much. The Viewsonic goes for around $750 AUD.
