Check the net for reviews. Check this site for reviews. Samsung or Viewsonic all the way, but stay away from the VX924 Viewsonic for now; it needs work. The Samsung 930b or 913t has better specs than the one you listed. Also, the Hyundai L90d+ is great.

always check for reviews by REAL people not manufacturers. reviews tell you the real performance not just the theoretical performance. 12ms or below for games is reccomended. viewing angle i believe is an important factor.

The philips and hyundai links are the same item.

The Hyundai has better specs (better contrast ratio.) compared to the Philips. I don't really like Philips, as I have had a not as great experience with them.

The Samsung has the worse specs, but I have always like them.

My friend has a Hyundai CRT monitor, and has no problems with it.

iF MONEY IS NOT THAT BIG A DEAL THIS IS THE BEST: its a va panel, way better viewing angles than the hyundai and out performs it in games.

See the latency of the Vp191b; under 15ms steady.

The hyundai goes up to 27ms.

Its just how manufactuers are marketing these days. Those 8ms statements are not completely true.
