Default pentium VIIV?

I saw a commercial on tv for pcs with pentium fives (is that even the right roman numeral)? Are those even comming out? ever?

Anyways I thought intel had hit a roadblock with the pentium series, so I thought I'd ask here and see if my eyes are $%^&ed or am I just not paying attention to tech these days.

looked on newegg, no dice. prefer my opteron over our prescott for everything anyways.

"V" would be five.

It would have to be the Core 2 Duo (C2D) that they were talking about. "Pentium" is dead.

Yeah, I think they pronounce it 'vive,' so I can see how you thought it was 'five.'
