I have an Abit AA8-Duramax that comes packed with Abit's overclocking software. I am able to change my base clock between 100 and 400 which means I can have a max FSB of 1.6 GHz which is unlikely.
I have DDR2-533.
I run a Pentium 4 520. Is this possible on stock cooling?
11.0 x 266 = 2926 MHz or 10.5 x 266 = ~2.8 GHz
266 x 4 = 1066 MHz
I have an option to bring down the multiplier, not bring it up. Will this work on stock cooling? Does upping the FSB and lowering the clock speed cancel out in terms of temperature?
