PCI slots not working

Hey,
Is it possible to blow all your pci slot so that they work but not to good, well i think that is what happen to my computer the video blew up which then short circuted the board out. I tried other pci card (network) and these work but are either very slow or don't show up.

If they work ..then they are not blown .. it could just be an issue of dust accumalation in the slots ...
Or a driver issue

Try blowin' the slots clean with a can of air.... N' then reseat the cards
