Default PCI IDE adapter?

I need to find a pci card with an ide adapter on it because my friends mobo doesn't have any ide slots in it and he had asked me to take out his harddrive from his external casing. Does anybody know where I can find a card relatively cheap?

Have you pulled the hard drive out already to confirm that it is ide? It very well may be sata in the external case. No sense in buying something if you do not have to.

Looks pretty good, that'll give you more SATA as well as an IDE. Do you plan to add any other IDE drives after this? That card will probably allow you to use 2 IDE drives (one on master, one on slave). If that's enough, use that, otherwise you may want to look for one with 2 IDE channels.
